History

Formed by an ex-director of an NHS Trust in 1995, SensorCare Systems manufacture and distribute spontaneous communication equipment to assist the care of high-risk individuals in hospitals, community services, nursing homes and homecare.

Through experience gained within health care provision, the company introduced the concept of ‘Targeted Care’. This anticipates the risk generated through poor communication skills and by providing an automatic communication link between the user and their nurse/carer, helps to modify the risk.

In April 2004 SensorCare Systems was acquired by TP Matrix Ltd, a company specialising in Electronics Design, Manufacture and Service, employing 40 staff in Oldham. Bringing the two companies together has increased their capability to provide Electronic Equipment to healthcare whilst maintaining a caring approach.
